guys wag na magtalo lets commend both teams nlang in going this far but i have points though.

ADMU is really showing great with its improvement from being a rookie team to a well molded team.. konti nlang yan hasa nyo na yan.. i must commend bea pascual, and gretchen ho for their blocking skills they were getting numbers for it and dzi gervacio and fille cainglet in getting the much needed kill for their team. and especially to jem ferrer who is the gamemaster of the team. un nga lang when u relax u really relax alot.. and i understand the pressure that u feel as rookies entering a 5th set in a do or die match.

FEU has proven themselves. Ive expected Mumay Vivas before to grow and she is a matured player now. Shaira has been a sasonal player, may off-on xa sa court but she still amazes me. Jose though tends to be erratic when pressured and is kinda like dillydallying her skills during this match but nonetheless she was superb. Tianco was an important utility for them as well as their captain Cabanag who scored several points for their team. Isa lang pansin ko, idol ko to pero I,m not seeing the spark in her once dazzling vball career. im talking about Rachelle Anne Daquis, i think among her teammates she was the most inconsistent player there. good leadership skills though as she can have the team right backon track but she wasnt in the BIG picture most of the time. I hope u could regain the prowess that u have in this field of sport. I missed seeing ur masterpiece.

once again guys CONGRATULATIONS and we'll see who deserves to be called CHAMPIONS.SmileSmile

No offend pipol ha. With the current performance of the Ateneo surely, they will win the play off against the deteriorating team of FEU. In FEU, Only vivas is reliable and consistency wise, Ateneo has it all.  Para naman laro ng Cuba (Ateneo) Vs. Malaysia (FEU). haahaha! let's face it! natatakot na ang mga FEU sa Ateneo. Infact, dapat performance nlang ang tingnan, and no need for a play off. I'm sure bug bog sarado ang FEU. Ang masabi ko lang, kulang pa talaga ang skills ng feu. Especiallysa mga baong athletes. Well FEU needs miracle to win this game! Goodluck anyway.

how poor of you saying those words….  nangapa ang ateneo sa 5th set.. wawang bata..

Cry.. before u criticize make sure youre using the right words…

if you have watched their game, you wouldn't think of saying those words again… buti nalang nakabawi sa mga errors nila yung feu dahil kung hindi, ateneo would have won AGAIN from feu's errors…hahaaay….

i cant believe you're still using the same name…

Read this pice of news. It's a heartbreaker but we have to accept this. We have to loof forward to your (ateneo) further improvement. Go, fille! go, ateneo. ONE BIG FIGHT!!! ….Cool

Lady Tams got the 4th spot in semis (From vleague.ph (commentaries) site. tnx, v-league)

It was a great match today at the arena when FEU and Ateneo battle it out to get the final slot to be in the final four on the semi finals. Since Ateneo won over UST last Friday, they have a shot for the last slot for the final four. but we all know that FEU is not an easy opponent in side the court especially if Chel Daquis is inside because she is the play maker of their team and her team mates depends on her. But Ateneo showed the crowd that they have the heart to be in the final four they played hard on the elimination matches until in the quarterfinals. Ateneo have already beaten all of the teams. But today’s battle was close, crowds cheered for their favorite teams and players. But ateneo could not hold on anymore on the fifth set so that’s why FEU is on the final four on this conference.

Heating up again on the FEU Lady Tams are Cherry Vivas, Shaira Gonzalez, Rachel Daquis and April Jose. Vivas scoring 21 spikes and 3 blocks, Gonzalez scored 19 spikes and 2 blocks while Daquis and Jose scored a combination of 4 ace services on the game.

FEU won over ADMU (25-12, 22-25, 27-25, 25-19, 15-9)

4 p.m. – FEU vs Ateneo

Far Eastern U and Ateneo-OraCare clash today in an expected down-to-the-wire contest in a playoff for the fourth and last berth in the Final Four of the Shakey's V-League Season 6 second conference at The Arena in San Juan.

The two teams split their two meetings in the conference with the Lady Tams trouncing the Lady Eagles, 3-1, in the elims and the Loyola-based squad evening things up with a similar 3-1 victory at the start of the quarters.

But Ateneo appears to enjoy the momentum, hurdling fancied UST in five sets last Friday to force the sudden death for the fourth semis berth in the tournament sponsored by Shakey's Pizza.

Three teams actually tied for third at 7-5 at the end of the quarters but Adamson clinched the third semis seat after UST and San Sebastian with a superior tiebreak score, leaving Ateneo and FEU to dispute the last Final Four slot.

But while Ateneo recovered in time, FEU is on a skid, losing four of their five games in the quarters after an impressive 6-1 campaign in the single round robin elims of the tournament backed by Mikasa, Accel, Mighty Bond and OraCare.
But records, momentum and the likes will hardly be factors in a sudden death with the Eagles and the Tams expected to pour it all out in a no-tomorrow contest.

One thing going for Ateneo is top hitter Charo Soriano is back after a two-week vacation in the US, scoring 13 hits to help the team nip UST. She is again expected to lead the Lady Eagles make-or-break bid along with top scorer Fille Cainglet, Angeline Gervacio, Denise Acevedo, Jamenea Ferrer, Bea Pascual and Gretchen Ho.

FEU will surely come up with key adjustments to check its skid with Cherry Vivas, the league's current scoring leader, Rachel Daquis, Shaira Gonzalez, Rose Cabanag and Monique Tiangco spearheading the Lady Tams' bid.

The match can be viewed live on webcast on http://www.v-league.ph with NBN-4 airing the game on a delayed basis starting at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Monday), according to the organizing Sports Vision.
